これはイギリスの新聞、サンデー・タイムズが１４日、イギリス政府の関係者の話として報じました。
それによりますと、ＣＩＡ元職員のスノーデン容疑者が持ち出した資料には、イギリスやアメリカのスパイを特定できる情報が含まれていて、この資料にロシアと中国がアクセスできる状態になっているということです。
このため、イギリス政府は一部の国からスパイを引き揚げさせ、スパイ活動が困難になっているということです。一方で、情報が漏れたことによって、スパイに危害が加えられたという証拠はないということです。

report and in response to the coverage of the media, Hammond the British
Minister of Foreign Affairs assumed that "in order to reduce the effect of
the leakage caused by suspect Snowden, I would not speak about what kind of
thing was being done". He also said that "it is beyond doubt that suspect
Snowden is inflicting a big wound on us".
I think spying is a norm among
the countries. I hope the safety of the spies would not be jeopardized due to
this leakage by Snowden.
