三井不動產與東京建物在八重洲建兩棟摩天樓

A few weeks ago the Yomiuri News on-line reported the following:

八重洲に超高層ビル２棟…三井不動産と東京建物

　三井不動産と東京建物は１０日、東京駅八重洲口の再開発事業として、それぞれ高さ２４５～２５０メートルの超高層ビルを建設する計画を発表した。

　三井不動産のビルは２０１８年に着工、２１年開業を予定する。東京建物のビルは２０年の着工、２４年開業を見込む。オフィスやホテル、商業施設などが入るほか、地下にはそれぞれ大型バスターミナルを整備し、地上に点在する乗り場を集約して羽田空港や成田空港、地方都市を結ぶ。事業費はいずれも公表していない。

On the 10^th (April) the Mitsui Fudosan together with the Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd., as their urban renewal projects in Tokyo station Yaesu-guchi, respectively announced plans to build skyscrapers with a height of 245-250 meters.

Regarding the building of Mitsui Fudosan, works would begin in 2018 and be scheduled to open in 2021. As for the building of Tokyo Tatemono works would begin in 2020 and be expected to open in 2024. In addition to providing offices, hotels and commercial establishments, respectively there would be large underground bus terminals. Concentrating on the ground would be different boarding stops with linkage to the Haneda Airport, the Narita Airport, and local cities. The respective project cost was not published.

So this area will have a new look because of the buildings.
