Last month the Yomiuri News on-line reported the following:

At the meeting for a few minutes the "gratitude to Prime Minister Abe" etc. was conveyed via the Chief Cabinet Secretary Suga regarding the conclusion of an agreement in April this year during the Japanese Taiwan fishery negotiations which involved the operation rules in ocean area surrounding Okinawa and the Senkaku Islands.

Mr. Li, who was closely connected to President Ma Ying-jeou, was inaugurated as the association’s president in May this year. This month for the first time he visited Japan during 4th to 9th after his assumption of office, and it was said that he also met with the Liberal Democratic Party youth bureau chief, Koizumi Shinjirou during this period.
