こうした中、マレーシア政府は20日、このアメリカの企業から新たな申し出があり、捜索を再開することで原則、合意したと発表しました。

捜索は最新の情報やデータの分析に基づいてインド洋南部の1万5000平方キロメートルの範囲で行われるということで、機体が見つからなければ企業側への費用の支払いは行われないとしています。
