The Malaysian government announced that it had reached an agreement in principle with an American marine exploration company to resume the search for the Malaysian Airlines passenger plane that disappeared over the South China Sea 10 years ago with more than 200 passengers and crew on board.
Attention would
be focused on whether it could make progress in uncovering the truth regarding
the disappearance of the passenger plane, which was also called "the
biggest mystery in aviation history."
Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 disappeared over the South China Sea 10 years ago while traveling from Malaysia to China with 239 passengers and crew on board.
At the time, the Malaysian government and other countries conducted a search, but only part of the aircraft was found and no major progress was made, the search was called off three years later. After that, an American marine exploration company contracted with the Malaysian government to resume the search, but no new discoveries were made.
Under these circumstances, on the 20th, the Malaysian government announced that it had received a new offer from the American company and had agreed in principle to resume the search.
The search would cover an area of 15,000 square kilometers in the southern Indian Ocean based on analysis of the latest information and data, and if the plane was not found, the company would not be paid any fees.
Attention would
be focused on whether progress could be made in uncovering the truth behind the
whereabouts of the passenger plane that been called "the greatest mystery
in aviation history."
So, Malaysia has reached a new agreement with
an American marine exploration company to resume the search for the missing Malaysian
Airlines passenger plane. I think the company is confident in finding the
plane eventually this time. If they finally find it, the story itself will
bring the company a lot of benefits on top of the fees they are promised.
