　日本航空系の格安航空会社（ＬＣＣ）ジェットスター・ジャパンは３日、国際線に参入すると発表した。

　来年２月２８日から、関西国際空港―香港線を就航する。

　香港線は週３往復（６便）で開始し、段階的に増便する。通常の片道運賃は５９９０～３万３４９０円。燃料価格に応じて国際線の航空運賃に上乗せする燃油特別付加運賃（サーチャージ）が別途必要となる。

　就航を記念して、２月２８日～７月８日（一部期間除く）の搭乗分を片道５９９円で販売する。販売期間は今月８日まで。

　国内線５路線では３日から最低運賃を引き下げた。関西―福岡線は５２９０円から４２９０円に、１０００円値下げした。

　ジェットスターは２０１２年７月に就航。１４年６月期決算で１１１億円の税引き後赤字に陥り、設立母体の日航や豪カンタスグループから１１月２８日に７０億円の追加出資を受けた。鈴木みゆき社長は「国際線就航も大きく貢献し、２年以内に黒字化を見込める」と意気込みを語った。

  On the 3rd the low-cost airline company (LCC) Jet Star Japan of JAL announced that it would join the international flight.

    From February 28th next year, Kansai International Airport - Hong Kong line would enter service.

   This Hong Kong line would begin with 3 flights round-trip (six flights) each week and could be increased step-by-step. The regular one-way fare was between 5,990 - 33,490 yen. The fuel oil special additional fare (surcharge) would be added separately to the air fare of the international flight according to the fuel price as needed.

  To commemorate the commission, it would sell one-way ticket at 599 yen for boarding made between February 28th - July 8th (except for certain periods). The selling period would be until 8th this month.

     Starting from the third, the fare for 5 lines in domestic flights was reduced to the lowest. The price for Kansai- Fukuoka line was cut by 1000 yen from 5,290 yen to 4,290 yen.

    Jet Star entered service in July 2012. Its June 2014 accounting fell into a deficit of 11,100,000,000 yen after tax. It received an additional investment of 7,000,000,000 yen on November 28th from JAL, the mother company, and the Qantas group of Australia. President Miyuki Suzuki said with confidence that "the international flight commissioned can also yield big contribution and a turn-around into profit within 2 years is expected".

So it is good news for travelers from Hong Kong to Japan.
