企業で情報漏えいへの対策が課題となっていることから、電機メーカーなどの間では、顔や静脈など体の特徴から本人かどうかを識別する技術を、企業向けのパソコンなどに活用する動きが広がっています。
このうち富士通は、手のひらをかざすだけで内蔵されたセンサーが静脈の形を読み取って本人確認を行うタブレット端末を、今月から企業向けに販売しています。
静脈に関する情報は体内にあるため偽造されにくいのが特徴で、会社によりますと、こうした技術をタブレット端末に活用するのは初めてだということです。
ＮＥＣは先月から、内蔵カメラで顔を認識しパソコンを作動させるソフトウェアを企業向けに販売しています。
これまで海外の出入国管理などで使われていた技術で、登録されていない人が画面をのぞき込んだりすると画面が自動的に閉じる仕組みになっています。
ＮＥＣの担当者は「パスワード入力だと、ほかの人に推測されるリスクもある。今後、企業の会員管理などにも活用できるのではないか」と話しています。
このほか、富士ゼロックスも顔で個人を識別して作動するコピー機を販売するなど、企業の情報漏えいの対策が課題となるなか、体の特徴を基に個人を識別するさまざまな技術を身近な情報機器に活用する動きが広がっています。

Because

The person
in charge of NEC said "in case of password inputting there is a risk of
being guessed by other people. From now on, is it not that members of the
company management etc. could take advantage of this".
In
addition, Fuji Xerox was selling copying machines that were operated by
identifying an individual in the face. As the measure against company
information leaking became a subject, a movement to use technology to identify
an individual based on bodily features had grown in information machines and
equipment that were within arm’s reach.
This technology has a good potential for further
development.
