In Israel, more than 40% of the population, or 4.21 million people, had received the first vaccination, of which more than 2.6 million had already completed the second inoculation, and vaccination was progressing at the fastest pace in the world.

The Israeli Ministry of Public Health analyzed the subsequent infection status of people who had received twice the vaccine developed by Pfizer and others. Based on the data up to the 13th of this month the result was announced on the 20th.

According to that, when comparing to those who had not received vaccination, those who received it twice, one week after the second vaccination, those who had fever or respiratory symptoms after infection saw a 96.9% less in number. Two weeks later, it was 98% less than those who had not received the vaccination.

In addition, one week after the second vaccination, the number of people who died after being infected was 94.5% lower than those who did not receive the vaccination; and 98.9% lower after two weeks.

In Israel, restrictions on going out had been partially relaxed starting from the 21st, and people who had been vaccinated twice would be allowed to use the gymnasium and pool, and the government encouraged all people aged 16 and over to be vaccinated.

It is nice to know that the number of inoculated people who died of coronavirus infection, compared to those who had no vaccination, saw a over 90% reduction.
