アメリカのラスベガスで世界最大規模のテクノロジーの見本市が７日から始まります。脳内の神経の働きを読み取ってパソコンを操作できるウエアラブル端末など、最新の製品やサービスが披露されます。
ラスベガスでは世界各地の4500余りのメーカーやＩＴ企業が出展する世界最大規模のテクノロジーの見本市「ＣＥＳ」が７日から始まります。
これを前にメディア向けの発表会が開かれ、各社が最新の製品やサービスを公開しました。
フランスのスタートアップ企業、ネクストマインドは、頭に取り付けるウエアラブル端末を披露しました。
この端末では利用者が操作方法を思い浮かべるだけで、センサーが脳内の神経の働きを感知して信号として送る仕組みで、コントローラーなどを使わなくてもパソコンの映像を切り替えたりゲームを楽しんだりすることができるということです。
韓国のＬＧは厚さが２センチほどの新型のテレビを発表したほか、ＡＩ＝人工知能の開発を強化し家電の機能を高めていく方針を示しました。
パナソニックは東京オリンピック・パラリンピックを見据え、スポーツ関連のビジネスに力を入れていくことや、アメリカの小型電気自動車のメーカーと提携しセンサーなどの技術を提供していくと発表しました。
見本市は10日まで開かれ、期間中およそ18万人が訪れる見込みです。

thick, LG in South Korea had announced plans to strengthen its development of
AI = artificial intelligence and enhance the functions of home appliances.
In anticipation of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics,
Panasonic announced that it would focus on sports-related businesses and
provide sensors and other technologies in partnership with small electric
vehicle manufacturers in the United States.
The trade fair would be open until the 10th and was expected
to attract around 180,000 visitors during the period.
