腸炎ビブリオ菌:基準値の14倍、中国産生食用ウニから

横浜市は2日、同市神奈川区の食品輸入会社「泰星物産」が輸入した中国産の生食用ウニから、少なくとも基準値の14倍に上る腸炎ビブリオ菌が検出されたと発表した。検査した厚生労働省から同日連絡があった。横浜市は食品衛生法に基づき、同社に回収命令を出した。
同市によると、生食用ウニは9月26日に中国から約816キロ輸入され、翌27日に東京、神奈川、埼玉、宮城、千葉、愛知の1都5県の水産卸売り計9社に販売されたという。うち約700キロは東京の3社に販売された。

On the 2nd
(last month) Yokohama announced that the vibrio-parahemolytica bacillus as
least 14 times above the safety standard was detected in the raw edible sea
urchin imported from China by a food importing company "Taixing Product"
at the city's Kanagawa district. The Ministry of Health, Labor
and Welfare which performed inspection was contacted on the same day, Yokohama gave the company
the order to recall based on Food Sanitation Laws.
According to the city 816 kg of raw edible
sea urchins were imported from China
on September 26, on the next day on the 27th all were sold to nine
fishery wholesale companies in Tokyo , Kanagawa,
Saitama, Miyagi, Chiba ,
and Aichi, i.e. the capital and five prefectures. About 700 kg were sold to three
companies in Tokyo .
Vibrio-parahemolytica bacillus was food
poisoning bacillus which existed in all sea water, and if it went into a human
body, conditions such as an intense stomachache and diarrhea would appear. It
could become extinct if it was heated for 1 minute at 75 degrees. At Yokohama on the 2nd, it
was said that currently there was no notification of health impairment caused by
this sea urchin.
So, the raw
edible sea urchin served in restaurants in Japan may not
be harvested locally.
