中国強化言論控制: 欧美思想是「噪音」

A few weeks ago the Yomiuri News on-line reported the following:

　【北京＝五十嵐文、竹内誠一郎】中国の習近平(シージンピン)政権が、憲法に基づいた政治や人権など欧米の思想に反対する宣伝を展開している。

　新疆ウイグル自治区などで大規模な襲撃事件が相次ぎ社会不安が高まる中、欧米思想の浸透が共産党の一党独裁を弱体化させかねないとの危機感からだ。言論・思想統制は強まる一方だ。

　習政権は、欧米の思想に対抗する道徳スローガンとして、「愛国」「富強」など計１２のキーワードからなる「社会主義核心的価値観」を掲げている。政府は８月８日、中国メディアに同価値観の宣伝を強化するよう指示。メディア側も、同価値観が「中国の伝統文化から生まれ、国情に合致している」（中国紙・光明日報）と宣伝に乗り出した。党中央組織部は７月、幹部向けに、欧米の思想に関する言論を「騒音」とし、「欧米の道徳価値観のイエスマンになるな」とも通知した。

The Xi Jinping Administration of China was developing a campaign to withstand Western thoughts as contained in the western constitutions, such as political and human rights etc.

It was amidst the large-scale attack incidents in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region etc. which succeeded one after another, and the increasing social unrest that a sense of crisis arose regarding the influence of European and American thoughts: they might weaken the one-party dictatorship of the Communist Party. Control in speech and thought was steadily tightened.

Xi Jinping Administration was up holding the "socialist core values outlook" which consisted of 12 keywords in total, such as "patriotism" and "rich and strong" as a moral slogan to withstand the European and American thoughts. On August 8th, the government gave directives to the China media to strengthen a campaign to unify their core-value-outlook. Also on the media side, (the China paper and Guangming Daily) advertised that their shared value outlook "was born by Chinese traditional culture and in agreement with the conditions of the country". In July the Party Central’s organization bureau notified the management staff to regard the talks about European and American thought as "noise", and "not to become a yes-man of the European and American moral value".

It is a pity to note that in China the control over speech and thought was tightening.
