中國新漁業監視船投入服務

中国政府は、およそ５８００トンと、これまでで最大となる漁業監視船を、新たに東シナ海での任務に投入し、沖縄県の尖閣諸島について日本側に領有権の存在を認めさせようという圧力を一層強める構えです。

中国国営の新華社通信などによりますと、新たに投入されたのは漁業監視船「漁政２０６」で、１１日、上海で就役を記念する式典が行われました。
「漁政２０６」はおよそ５８００トンと、これまでで最大の漁業監視船で、今後、東シナ海でのパトロールなどの任務に就くということです。
「漁政２０６」の責任者は、「以前の船では近海での任務しかできなかったが、この船であれば遠くまで行くことができる」と述べ、船の大型化で、航行できる距離と期間が長くなったと強調しています。
また、新華社通信は「漁業の秩序と国家の海洋権益を守るために重要な意義がある」と伝えています。中国は、先月も３０００トン級の海洋監視船を東シナ海での巡視活動に投入すると発表するなど、尖閣諸島の周辺海域への漁業監視船や海洋監視船などの派遣を常態化させる動きを強めていて、今回も、大型の漁業監視船の投入で、日本側に領有権の存在を認めさせようという圧力を一層強める構えです。

The Chinese government deployed their fishery inspection boat, which was about 5800 tons and being the biggest up to the present moment, into the new duties in the East China Sea; it served as a further pressure on Japan on admitting the sovereignty right over the Senkaku Islands of the Okinawa Prefecture.

According to Xinhua News Agency etc managed by the China government, the fishery inspection boat "Yuzheng 206" had newly joined the service, and the ceremony which commemorated its commission was held on the 11^th in Shanghai.

It was said that "Yuzheng 206" was about 5800 tons and this fishery inspection boat was currently the biggest; and from now on it would take up the duties such as patrolling the East China Sea etc.

The person in charge of the "Yuzheng 206" said that "the previous ships could only carry out duties in adjacent seas, now with this ship, he can travel great distance", and it was emphasized that with larger ships, the distance and the period which could cruise would be extended.

Moreover, Xinhua News Agency had said that “there is an important meaning in the protection of sea rights and interests of the state, and the orderly fishing."

It was announced that China had commissioned a 3000-ton class sea surveillance ship into inspection activities in the East China Sea last month also. It became commonplace to dispatch the fishery inspection boats and surveillance ships etc to the ocean area surrounding the Senkaku Islands, and such motion was being strengthened. This time, with the commission of a large-sized fishery inspection boat, it showed the intention to strengthen further pressure on Japan on admitting the sovereignty rights.

In response, I think Japan would probably send more ships to patrol the Senkaku Islands in the near future.
