Recently the Yomiuri News on-line reported the following:
Suzuki announced on the 9th that the electric motorcycle "e-rettsu", the first of their company, would be on the market starting from January 9 next year.
It could be charged with the home-use 100 volt power supply, and could run 30 km with a 4-hour charging. A spare battery could also be stacked under the seat. It was able to be operated using a motorized license and the price of the motocycle was 312,900 yen. It would be 396,900 yen with the reserve battery. Yearly sales of 1000 sets was expected.
Yamaha Motor electric motorcycle had entered the market in September last year. Honda was also doing lease-sale for companies.
It seems that the sales price is quite high.
