三星營業收入下降37％......連續5個季度

韓国サムスン、営業利益３７％減…５四半期連続

　【ソウル＝宮崎健雄】韓国サムスン電子は８日、２０１４年１０～１２月期連結決算で、本業のもうけを示す営業利益が、前年同期比３７・４２％減の５兆２０００億ウォン（約５６４５億円）になるとの見通しを発表した。

　５四半期連続の減益となるが、７～９月期（前年同期比６０・０５％減）よりは割合は縮小した。

　売上高は１２・２８％減の５２兆ウォンだった。ウォン高や米国・中国企業との競争激化で、主力のスマートフォンの収益力が低下したことが影響したとみられる。

　１４年１２月期（通期）は、売上高が前年比１０・１５％減の２０５兆４８００億ウォン、営業利益が同３２・２１％減の２４兆９４００億ウォンと予想。それぞれ過去最高だった前年からは大幅に減少し、２０１１年以来の減益となる。

On the 8^th (January) Korean Samsung Electronics announced their forecast of the October to December 2014 consolidated account; their key business operating profit at year-on-year comparison indicated a 37.42 % reduction, standing at 5,200,000 million wons (about 564,500 million yen).

  While it was a decrease in profit for five consecutive quarterly terms, compared to the July-September period the percentage was reduced (compared to same period previous year it was a 60.05 % decrease).

  The net sale was 52,000,000 million wons, being a 12.28 % decrease. It was thought to have been affected by both the high wons and the competition from the USA and Chinese enterprise, together with a fall in the earning ability of smart phones that was the company's key business.

  It was expected that total sales up to December 2014 (full business year) would be 205,480,000 million wons which was a 10.15 % decrease compared to the previous year. Operating profit would be 24,940,000 million wons which was a 32. 21 % decrease. Respectively they were substantial decrease compared to last year which was the best in the past. It was a decrease in profit since 2011.

I am wondering whether Korea will try to depreciate the wons in order to help its exportation.
