東京樹塔試燈飾裝置

Recently the Yomiuri News on-line reported the following:
５月２２日に開業する東京スカイツリー（東京都墨田区）で１９日夜、塔に設置された計１９９５個の発光ダイオード（ＬＥＤ）照明をすべて点灯させる初のライトアップ試験が行われた。
　試験は午後７時頃から始まり、ツリーは「粋(いき)」と名付けられた隅田川をイメージした水色と、「雅(みやび)」と呼ばれる紫色に彩られた。
　開業後は１日ごとに「粋」と「雅」の点灯を行う予定。

On the 19th at night, lighting testing was carried out that would turn on for the first time all the light emitting diode (LED) bulbs totalling 1995 in number installed on the tower of the Tokyo Sky Tree (Sumida district, Tokyo) which was scheduled to be opened on May 22.
The testing was started at around 7:00 p.m. and the Tree was colored with light blue called "essence (iki)" which had the imagine of Sumida River; and with purple called "elegance (miyabi)".
At the commencement of business on day one, it was scheduled to perform "elegance" and "essence" lighting.

For sure the Tokyo Sky Tree is a tourist attraction, both in the day time and at night.
