講談社は2日、中国の出版グループ「広西出版伝媒集団有限公司」と合弁会社を現地に設立し、12年3月に中国で月刊漫画雑誌を創刊すると発表した。講談社は「長年にわたり培ってきた漫画事業のノウハウを最大限活用し、中国漫画市場に確固たる地位を築くことを目指す」としている。
同社によると、新雑誌は10~15歳の少年がターゲット。中国国内の一流漫画作家を結集し、漫画メディアのトップクラスのプラットホームへと成長させることを目標とする。
