台灣執政黨領導人訪問中國:強調交流重要性

台湾の与党・国民党の党首、朱立倫主席は中国共産党とのトップ会談などを行うため中国を訪問し、最初に訪れた上海で学生たちを前に講演して、中台の交流の重要性を強調しました。
台湾の与党・国民党のトップ、朱立倫主席は2日、台北近郊の空港を出発して中国の最初の訪問地上海に到着し、名門の復旦大学を訪れました。
朱主席は地元の大学生や台湾からの留学生など、およそ200人を前に講演し、「若者がこのように頻繁に交流し理解し合うことができれば、未来の世代は明るく発展すると信じている」と述べ、若者を中心とした中台の交流の重要性を強調しました。
朱主席は3日は上海で開かれる中台の経済交流などを話し合うフォーラムに出席し、4日には北京の人民大会堂で中国共産党の最高指導者である習近平国家主席と6年ぶりとなる両党のトップ会談を行います。
台湾では来年1月に馬英九総統の任期満了に伴う総統選挙が予定されていて、国民党のホープとされる朱主席は立候補も取り沙汰されています。
台湾の住民の中国に対する警戒感の広がりを受けて、中台関係がぎくしゃくするなか、朱主席が今回の訪問で中国側とどのようなやり取りをするのか関心が高まっています。

Chairman Zhu Lilun of the Kuomintang, a Taiwanese political party, as head of the ruling party would visit China to hold high-level talks with the Communist Party of China; he would first visit Shanghai to give a lecture in front of students to emphasize the importance of China-Taiwan exchange.

On the 2nd (May) Zhu Lilun as the head of Kuomintang, the Taiwan’s ruling party, left an airport in Taipei suburb to arrive at his first destination of Shanghai in China to visit the distinguished Fudan University.

In front of the approximately 200 people such as a local college students and overseas students from Taiwan, Chairman Zhu gave a lecture to them saying that "if it is possible for young people to exchange frequently like this to understand each other, I believe their future will develop brightly". He emphasized the importance of making the young people as the center of the China-Taiwan exchange.

On the 3rd Chairman Zhu would attend a forum to be held in Shanghai to discuss China-Taiwan economic exchange. On the 4th for the first time in 6 years he would have a high-level talk between the two parties at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing with President Xi Jinping who was the supreme leader of the Communist Party in China.

In January next year in Taiwan, the term for President Ma Yingjiu would expire and an election would be scheduled. There were sayings that Chairman Zhu Lilun as the hope of Kuomintang would become a candidate.

Noting the wide spread sense of vigilance towards China among Taiwanese residents, for Chairman Zhu’s China visit this time, there were growing interest in knowing what kind of exchange with the Chinese side was amid the jerky China-Taiwan relationship.


    Up to this moment, it seems that Chairman Zhu would not stand for the Presidential election in Taiwan.
