俄國:公開在極東建設中的賭場

ロシア極東のウラジオストク近郊で、カジノを中心とした巨大な複合リゾート施設の建設が進められており、ロシアとしては中国をはじめとするアジアから観光客を呼び込み、外貨獲得につなげたい考えです。

このリゾート施設は、ロシア政府が中国などからの民間投資を得てウラジオストク近郊で建設を進めているもので、９日、初めてメディアに公開されました。
計画では、東京ドームおよそ１３０個分に当たる６２０ヘクタールの敷地に、カジノなどを備えたホテルが１５棟のほか、国際会議場、さらにショッピングモールなどを整備する予定で、総事業費は２０億ドル（日本円でおよそ２４００億円）だということです。
すべての施設が完成するのは２０２２年の予定ですが、来年５月には一部がオープンする予定で、すでにカジノで勤務するディーラーの養成が進められています。
近年、アジアとの経済的な結びつきを重視してきたロシアとしては、外国の資本を取り入れながら中国などから観光客を呼び込んで外貨を獲得し、アジアへの玄関口にあたるウラジオストクの発展につなげたい考えです。
ロシア沿海地方の行政府の担当者は「このプロジェクトによって観光客が増え、地元の行政に安定的な税収入がもたらされることを期待している」と話しています。

The construction of a huge compound of resort facilities using the casino as the center was in progress at the Vladivostok suburb in Russia’s Far East; Russia had the idea that it would like to attract tourists from Asia such as China and to link the resort to earning foreign currency.

The Russian government got private investments from China etc. and was advancing construction in Vladivostok’s suburb. On the 9^th (December), some resort facilities were open to the media for the first time.

In the plan, the project would provide 620 hectares of site, approximately 130 Tokyo Dome, with international conference halls and shopping malls in addition to 15 hotel buildings equipped with the casino. It was said that the total operating expenses would be 2,000 million dollars (in Japanese yen approximately 240,000 million).

The schedule was that all facilities would be completed by 2022. But some parts was planned to be open in May next year (2015) and the training of dealers who would work in the casino was already going ahead.

Russia which had been emphasizing the economic relation with Asia in recent years held the idea that it would like to link this to the development of Vladivostok as a gateway in Asia: while taking in foreign capital, to get the foreign currency by attracting tourists from China etc.

The person in charge of the administration in Russia seaboard said that "tourists would be increased by this project, and it is expected that stable tax income can be brought to the local administration".

It seems that this is the Macau in the north.
