日本中部電力因為轉用火力發電令赤字增加

中部電力は、今年度の業績見通しについて、運転を停止している浜岡原子力発電所の代わりに、稼働を増やしている火力発電所の燃料費の負担が重くなることなどから、経常損益の赤字幅が昨年度より１２０億円拡大し、８００億円の赤字となることを明らかにしました。

中部電力はことし７月の決算発表で、夏の電力需給が見極められないことを理由に今年度の業績見通しを公表していませんでしたが、夏の需給が固まったとして、４日、公表しました。
それによりますと売上高は２兆６４００億円で、石油や天然ガスの値上がりで電気料金が上昇することなどから昨年度より１９００億円程度、増える見通しです。
しかし、浜岡原発の代わりに火力発電所の稼働が増えて、燃料の調達コストが重くなることなどから、経常損益の赤字幅が１２０億円余り拡大して８００億円の赤字となり、２年連続の経常赤字を見込んでいるということです。

About the earnings prospect for Chubu Electric Power in the current fiscal year, it showed clearly that the current account deficit of the ordinary profit and loss would expand from the 12 billion yen of last fiscal year; and it would record a loss of 80 billion yen because the heavy burden of the fuel cost for the thermal power plant which had increased operation in order to replace the Hamaoka nuclear power plant which had stopped operation.

While Chubu Electric Power had not released the earnings prospect for the current fiscal year in the financial statements announcement in July this year on grounds that the electric power supply and demand for the summer was not clearly known, now noting that the supply and demand in the summer were solidified, the details were announced officially on the 4th.

According to it, the sales amount was 2,640 billion yen; and since electricity bills had gone up due to rises in price of oil and natural gas, an increase of about 190 billion yen was expected compared to the last fiscal year.

I was said that, however, since the operation of the thermal power plant had to be increased to replace the Hamaoka nuclear power plant, the funding cost of fuel became huge; the deficit in the current account of the ordinary profit and loss was expanded by 12 billion yen, recording a loss of 80 billion yen. A continuous 2-year deficit in the current account was expected.

It is common knowledge that thermal power plants are more costly to operate. I am wondering who will pay for the deficit at the end of the day: the future user, the Government or the entrepreneur.
