釣魚台魚船碰撞爭論

Recently the Yomiuri News reported the following:

蓮舫行政刷新相は１４日午前の閣議後の記者会見で、東シナ海の尖閣諸島周辺の日本領海内で海上保安庁の巡視船に衝突した中国漁船船長を逮捕した事件について「領土問題なので、毅然とした日本国としての立場を冷静に発信すべきで、感情論に陥るべきではない」と述べた。　その後、都内で記者団に「誤解を与える表現があった。訂正する。尖閣は歴史的にも国際法上もわが国固有のものだ」と釈明した。政府は、尖閣諸島について「領土問題は存在しない」という立場を取っている。

It seems that the dispute would continue for a while and I hope it can be resolved peacefully.
