日本過百萬人患流感

Recently the Yomiuri News reported the following:

国立感染症研究所は３０日、全国約５０００医療機関を対象にした定点調査の結果、最新の１週間（１９～２５日）に新たに医療機関を受診したインフルエンザ患者が１医療機関当たり２４・６２人に上ったと発表した。前週（１２～１８日）の１７・６５人の１・３９倍で、全国の推計患者数は前週の約８３万人から約１１４万人となり、初めて１００万人を上回った。　ほとんどが新型インフルエンザ患者と見られ、７月上旬以降の患者数の累計は約４３１万人となった。　都道府県別では、福岡が３７・３５人、兵庫が３３・５１人、秋田が３２・１５人と、警報レベルの３０人を初めて超えた。既に警報レベルに入っている北海道が６１・４３人、愛知が３９・４２人。「全国規模で本格的な流行となってきている」と分析している。

Hokkaido earlier on had already exceeded the trigger/alarm level now had 61.43 people, and Aichi had 39.42 people. According to the statistical analysis, flu in Japan had "spread out in full swing on a nationwide scale".

As the new type influenza has spread fast in many big cities around the world now, probably it would be only a matter of time before Hong Kong witnesses the next round of flu out break.
