アフリカの最も裕福な大富豪３人が保有する資産は、所得の少ないアフリカの６億5000万人の資産の合計を上回るとする報告書を国際的なＮＧＯがまとめ、格差の解消に取り組むよう呼びかけています。

この報告書は、世界の貧困問題に取り組むＮＧＯ「オックスファム」が３日公表しました。

それによりますと、アフリカで最も裕福な大富豪３人の資産の合計は、288億ドル（およそ３兆800億円）に上り、所得の少ないアフリカの６億5000万人の資産の合計を上回ったということです。

中でも西アフリカのナイジェリアでは最も裕福な５人が保有する資産は299億ドルと国の予算よりも多かったほか、アフリカの富豪の資産の多くが租税回避地タックスヘイブンに渡り、年間140億ドルの税収入を失っていると指摘しています。

そのうえでアフリカ諸国の政府に対し、高所得者の税負担を増やすなど貧富の差を解消するための政策を取るよう呼びかけています。
