聯想集團自主回収電源電線: 擔心可能著火

中国のパソコンメーカー「レノボ・グループ」は、国内で販売したノートパソコンの電源コードが使用中に発火するおそれがあるとして、およそ１８万本を自主回収すると発表しました。

レノボ・グループの発表によりますと、自主回収の対象となるのは、「ＩｄｅａＰａｄ」と「Ｌｅｎｏｖｏ」というブランド名で平成２３年の２月からおととし６月までに製造された、ノートパソコン２９機種に付属されている電源コードです。
コードには差し込みのプラグの部分に「ＬＳ－１５」という表示があるということです。
レノボによりますと、この製品は海外でも販売されていて、ケーブルをＡＣアダプターに差し込む部分から煙が出たという報告が中国、韓国、シンガポールなど４か国で合わせて１７件あったということです。
これまでのところ、国内ではこうした報告は寄せられていませんが、使用中に発火するおそれがあるとして自主回収することにしました。
会社は、対象者に対して無償で代替のケーブルを送ることにしています。

２１日までは土日も対応するということです。

There was a fear that when using the power cord of a laptop computer sold in this country, fire could out; a Chinese PC manufacturer the "Lenovo group" announced a voluntarily recall of approximately 180,000 cords.

According to an announcement of the Lenovo group, the target of the voluntarily recall was the power cords that attached to 29 models of laptop computers produced from February 2011 to June 2012, using the brand name "IdeaPad" or "Lenovo".

It was said that the cord had the indication "LS-15" on the inserting plug.

According to Lenovo this product was also sold in foreign countries, and there were all together 17 reports in four countries of China, Korea and Singapore etc. that when it was plugged into an AC adapter the cable of inserting plug gave out smoke.

Up to now no such report was made in the country, but assuming that there was a fear of fire when using it, to do an independent recall was decided.

To the targeted users, the company would send out a substitute cable without charge.

        It seems that this is a huge recall exercise.
