日本發現偽造居留咭

不法残留の疑いで逮捕された岐阜県の中国人が、偽造された「在留カード」を所持していたことが分かり、警察が入手ルートを調べています。在留カードはことし７月に導入されたもので、法務省によりますと偽造されたカードが見つかったのは全国で初めてです。

警察によりますと、今月、不法残留の疑いで逮捕された岐阜県瑞穂市の中国人が、偽造された在留カードを所持していたということです。
「在留カード」は外国人の不法滞在対策として自治体が発行する外国人登録証明書に代わって、ことし７月に新たに導入されたもので、入国管理局が日本に３か月を超えて滞在する外国人に交付します。在留カードにはＩＣチップが組み込まれるなど高度な偽造防止策が施されていて、法務省によりますと、偽造されたカードが見つかったのは、全国で初めてだということです。
警察がカードを詳しく分析するなどして偽造の方法や入手ルートなどを調べています。

It turned out that the Chinese in Gifu Prefecture who was arrested on suspicion of unlawful stay was possessing a forged "residents card", and the police was investigating the route to acquire it. As for the residents card, it was first introduced in July this year, and according to the Ministry of Justice it was the first time to find a forgery in the whole country.

According to the police, it was said that the Chinese in Gifu Mizuho who was arrested this (October) month on suspicion of unlawful stay was possessing a forged resident card.

The "residents card" was newly introduced in July this year replacing the Certificate of Alien Registration which the self-governing body issued as a measure against foreigner's illegal stay, and the Immigration Bureau delivered it to the foreigner who stayed in Japan exceeding three months. It was said that an advanced forged preventive measure, the IC chip, was included in a residents card, and according to the Ministry of Justice this was the first time that a forged card was found in the whole country.

The police was investigating by analyzing the card in detail to know the counterfeit method and the acquisition route etc.

It is surprising to note that this new card was just introduced in July this year.
