日本薯片有玻璃碎要回收

Recently the NHK News on-line reported the following:

大手食品メーカーのカルビーは、ポテトチップの「堅あげポテト」という商品の一部に、ガラス片が混入しているおそれがあるとして、商品およそ５３４万袋を自主回収すると発表しました。

問い合わせはカルビーのお客様相談室で受け付けており、電話番号は、０１２０－５５－８５７０です。

自主回収するのは、カルビーが製造・販売しているポテトチップの「堅あげポテト」シリーズの「うすしお味」と「のり味」「ブラックペッパー」「関西だしじょうゆ」「ゆずこしょう味」という商品です。
回収の対象となるのは、これらの商品のうち、滋賀県湖南市の工場で作ったことを示す「製造所固有記号」が「ｂ」となっているものの一部で、製造日がことし７月２０日から今月１７日まで、賞味期限が今月２０日から来年３月１７日までの商品です。
これらの商品はおよそ５３４万袋に上り、自主回収するとしています。
問題が発覚したのは、今月１７日に商品を購入した男性から「ガラス片かプラスチックのようなものが入っていて、口の中を切った」という連絡が寄せられたことがきっかけで、詳しく調べた結果、工場の生産設備のカバーの一部が破損して、ガラス片が混入した疑いがあることが分かりました。
カルビーでは「お客様には大変ご迷惑をおかけしますことを深くおわびします」と話しています。
問題の商品が製造された滋賀県湖南市の工場では、２年前にもスナック菓子の一部に異物が混入していたことが分かり、自主回収を行っています。

Calbee Inc. the leading food manufacturer announced that a voluntary recall was being carried out for about 5,340,000 bags of product noting that there was a possibility that pieces of glass might have been mixed with their potato chips production the "Kenage Potato".

The "Kenage Potato" series potato chips manufactured and sold by Calbee now being recalled voluntarily were products called "Usushi taste" and "Nori taste" "Black pepper" "Kansai dashijoyu”, and “Yuzu goyou taste".

Regarding the recalled target, a part of the production came from the factory in Shiga Konan with the "factory peculiar sign" "b" and the date manufactured was from this year July 20 to the 17th this month. The best-before date of the goods was from the 20th this month up to March 17^th next year.

These products supposedly would have about 5,340,000 bags and voluntary recall would be carried out on them.

The problem was revealed when a man purchased the product on the 17th of this month made contact to say that "something like a piece of glass or a plastic was added, and had cut the inside of my mouth". As a result of the detailed investigation, it turned out that a part of the cover of a production facility in the factory had been damaged, and it was suspected that pieces of glass were mixed to it.

In Calbee, it was saying that "we deeply apologize for causing the serious trouble to the customers."

At the factory in Shiga Konan where the goods in question were manufactured, two years ago, it also turned out that a foreign substance was mixed in some snack confectionery and a voluntary recall was carried out.
