東京港区新橋駅附近有人勒索

Recently FNN News reported the following:

東京・港区の新橋駅周辺などで、暴力団を装った男が帰宅途中の会社員らに因縁をつけ、現金を奪う事件が相次ぎ、警視庁は、防犯カメラに映った男の行方を追っている。
新橋駅周辺などでは、2009年11月から、暴力団を装った男が帰宅途中の会社員などに、「お前は麻薬取引の邪魔をした。組事務所に連れて行き、つめをはいで内臓を取り出す」などと因縁をつけ、現金を奪う恐喝事件が相次いでいる。
2009年12月、西新橋では、公認会計士の男性を脅し、現金およそ120万円を奪った。
同様の事件は、これまでに5件、被害総額は289万円にのぼるという。

Near the Shinbashi station of Tokyo Minato Ward a man dressed in criminal syndicate attire used made up stories to extort cash from company employees returning home, and this event happened one after another, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department was chasing the whereabouts of a man whose picture was taken by the security camera.

Since November 2009, company employees and others who were returning home were confronted by a man dressed in criminal syndicate attire near the Shinbashi station using fabricated accusation that 「You had obstructed the drug trafficking. Together go to the office, open the package and take out the content 」, and cash extortion happened successively.

In December, 2009 a male certified public accountant was threatened and extorted in the cash of about 1.2 million yen in west Shinbashi.

So far, five similar events had happened and the total loss amounted to 2.89 million yen .

If you are in the vicinity of the Shinbashi station in Tokyo, better be careful.
